What is Meditation?
The meditation is a practice of regulation of body and mind training to focus attention, to achieve tranquility, concentration, reduce stress and anxiety.
In addition to the benefits for the mind, meditation also has an effect on physical health, acting in the regulation of blood, blood pressure and heart rate.
The effects of meditation can also be seen in the long term. Studies have shown that the effort to maintain focus is much less in people who perform the practice frequently.
Even though they all have the same goal, there are different types of meditation. In Western society, there are two main meditation techniques : mindfulness and concentration.
